Club SciKidz Charlotte 2023 Safety Measures
The following protocols are SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME. We successfully operated camp in 2021 & 2022 using a multi-layered approach to prevention, and will adjust these protocols as needed as we get closer to 2023.
As always, Club SciKidz Charlotte North is committed to the safety & wellness of all campers, staff, and families. Working together and everyone doing their part is the key to another successful and safe summer.
Stay Home When Sick
Your child needs to stay home if he/she has:
- Fever of 100.4 or higher
- Vomiting or Diarrhea (within 24 hours)
- COVID symptoms such as sore throat, cough or loss of smell/taste
- Drainage from an ear or eye (may indicate infection)
- Frequent sneezing/coughing not related to allergies. This spreads sickness to others.
- Has tested positive for COVID in last 7 days.
- Has been around someone who has tested positive for COVID in the last 14
days
Cleaning, Disinfecting, Hand Washing/Sanitizer
- Staff and facility custodial staff will clean and disinfect classrooms and common areas daily.
- Staff and campers will be required to wash their hands and use sanitizer frequently, specifically before & after meals, before & after using shared materials, and between activities.
Face Coverings
Mask wearing is currently optional for staff and campers both indoors and outdoors.
